このたび、OU-SDGsプログラムは、自発的・積極的に社会課題に取り組み、持続可能な未来社会の実現に貢献できる人材を育むことを目的として、SDGsおよび関連する社会課題に取り組む研究について国際学会・国際会議等で発表する大阪大学の学生の渡航費・滞在費および参加費を支援しました。

実施後の採択者からの報告では、「自身の研究成果を発表し、さまざまな分野の研究者の方々と意見交換を行う貴重な機会となりました」、「今回の経験を糧に、実験室の枠を超えた広い視野を持ち、地球規模の課題解決に資する研究者として成長していく所存です」、「今後は得られた知見を研究に反映させ、（中略）さらに発展させることで持続可能な社会の実現に貢献していきたい」といった声がありました。
